Peshkov, Sergey Fedorovich

Sergey Fedorovich Peshkov - Honored Artist of the Russian Federation, Professor.

Since 1990, Sergei Fedorovich became an artist of the newly created chamber orchestra "B-A-S-N", and in 2000 - its artistic director. As an artist of the “B-A-S-N” orchestra, he took part in more than 10 international festivals in Russia and Europe, cultural events of UNESCO and UNICEF (in Russia and Italy), conducted several tours in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Holland , France, Italy, Spain, Taiwan, Mexico, including with the Eurytheum Theater from Stuttgart (Germany), twice participated in international music competitions in Spain.

In 1994, Sergey Peshkov received the title of Honored Artist of the Russian Federation. In 1996, after the enchanting performance of the concert of L. Boccherini in the city of San Salvador (Spain) in the concert hall-museum of Pablo Casals, the name of Sergey Peshkov was entered into the Album of the best cellists of the World, which is stored there.

In 1979, S.F. Peshkov began teaching at the UGK. At the same time, in 1979-1989. he is an artist of the quartet. N. Myaskovsky (together with L. Mirchin, V. Milshtein, L. Tyshkov, D. Petukhov, A. Fedotieva, V. Reva, G. Terey, V. Averin). Since 1990, he was the accompanist of the cello of the BACH orchestra, later the artistic director of the orchestra and quartet BACH (in 1996 the quartet was renamed the Virtuosi of Yekaterinburg). Since 2005 - Head of the Department of String Instruments UGK.

S.F. Peshkov conducts extensive performing activities as a soloist and ensemble. Among his students are laureates and diploma winners of international competitions: O. Vedernikov, Chi Yu Min, S. Kotunov, F. Korobov (now the main conductor of the Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko Musical Theater), Baatarasavyn Enkhbaatar (Enhe, conductor of the Ural Philharmonic Orchestra), I. Nechaev.
