Biography

Born in 1998 in St. Petersburg in the family of Vitaliy Kriskevich and Tatyana Simakina. From childhood she was engaged in drafts. She won Russian and international tournaments at a youth level. Her first personal significant success in adult competitions was the gold medal of the St. Petersburg stage of the World Cup in drafts in the Brazilian blitz in July 2017. Maria prevailed in all matches, also taking the overall 16th place out of 85 in the combined ranking with men [7] [8]
