History
In accordance with the Law of the Omsk Region dated July 30, 2004 No. 548-OZ “On the Borders and Status of Municipalities of the Omsk Region” [3], the village became part of the formed municipal entity “Bolshevatmas Rural Settlement”.
Geography
Small Atmas is located in the south of the region, within the Kurumbelskaya steppe , which is part of the Chebakly-Sumin depression , near the state border with Kazakhstan , on the Irtysh River and its old town Atmasik.

According to the 2010 All-Russian Population Census, in the gender structure of the population of 384 people there are 193 men and 191 women (50.3 and 49.7% respectively) [2]

According to the 2002 census , Russians accounted for 82% of the total population of 444 in the national population structure. [4] .
