Hippocorist (son of Hephaestina)

Hippocorist ( dr. Greek Ἱπποκορυστής) - in ancient Greek mythology, one of the fifty sons ^{[1] [2] of} Egypt , the twin brother of Danus .

The hippocorist was the grandson of the Egyptian king Bel and Ankhinoi , daughter of the river god Nile . According to his grandfather, he was the great-grandson of Epaphus , the son of Zeus from Io , and thus descended from the first kings of Argos .

His mother was Hephaestine , who besides him had sons Daifron , Arbelus, Pandion and Hyperbius ..

Together with the remaining 49th Egyptians (sons of Egypt ), he arrived in Argolis to demand that Uncle Danai arrange their wedding with the Danids , and secretly they wanted to kill both Danai and his daughters on their wedding night.
