The village is located on the highway Lyubytino - Malaya Vishera . From the north are the villages of Shubino and Torbino , to the south, beyond the Polona River, is the village of Ivanovo .
There is a store in Yartsevo (a new building was built in 2018), the Culture House with a library is working. In the village there is a cemetery (on the way to the village of Ivanovo), an obelisk to Evgeny Vasilyevich Boytsov , Hero of the Soviet Union [2] , a native of the neighboring village of Shubino .
