Biography

Family

He graduated from Tonga College . Comes from a rugby family. His older brother Sinali first played for Tonga, but then moved to Japan, where he naturalized and got the right to play for the Japanese team . As part of the Japanese team, Sinali played at the World Cups in 1987, 1991 and 1995. Three younger brothers also played in Celtic [2] : Tevita studied in New Zealand and played for the Tonga rugby 7 team ; Kilifi, the youngest son in the family, was captain of the rugby 7 team [3] [4] , played with Penieli and Langakali in New Zealand and the United States [5]

Married, his wife's name is Sina. Children: Kronfeld, Hahano, Ola, PJ, Katherine, Stephen. The family lives in New Zealand Timaru .

Game career

Over the course of his rugby career, he played for the Valekhoto amateur club; in the Japanese Top League, he played for the Sekom Raggats team. He completed his career at the New Zealand club "Celtic" from South Canterbury and for the national team of this region. As a member of the national team, Tonga played 9 matches: he debuted on June 4, 1994 in a game against Samoa in Moamoa, and played his last game on July 15, 1995 against Fiji on Suva. Member of the 1995 Rugby World Cup, played all three matches.
