Biography

Sergey Dmitrievich Bainetov was born July 17, 1955 in the city of Taganrog, Rostov Region, in the family of military pilot Bainetov Dmitry Fedorovich [1] .

In 1972 he graduated from high school in Chernigov and entered the Chernigov Higher Military Aviation School of Pilots , which he graduated in 1976 .

Then he served in the following positions:

  • from 1976 to 1981 - pilot, senior pilot, aviation commander of a fighter aviation regiment of the Group of Soviet Forces in Germany .
  • from 1981 to 1986 - aviation commander, deputy aviation squadron commander, aviation squadron commander of the 22nd Guards Fighter Aviation Regiment of the Air Force of the Far Eastern Military District .
  • from 1986 to 1989 - student of the Air Force Academy named after Yu. A. Gagarin .
  • from 1989 to 1994 - deputy commander of a fighter aviation regiment for flight training, deputy commander of a fighter aviation regiment of the Western Group of Forces.
  • from 1994 to 1997 - commander of a fighter aviation regiment, deputy commander of a fighter aviation division of the Leningrad Military District .
  • from 1997 to 1998 - commander of the fighter aviation division of the North Caucasus Military District .
  • from 1998 to 2000 - student of the Military Academy of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation .
  • From 2000 to 2005 - Deputy Commander of the Air Defense Corps, Deputy Commander of the Air Force and Air Defense Army of the Far Eastern Military District.
  • From 2005 to 2012 - Head of the Aviation Safety Service of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation .
  • From 2012 to 2015 - Chairman of the Board of the non-profit partnership “Flight Safety”.
  • from 2015 to 2016 - Deputy Head of the Aviation Safety Service of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
  • From December 2016 to the present - Head of the Department (Head of the Aviation Flight Safety Service of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation).
