Biography

Ana Belitsa was born in Belgrade in a sports family. Her sister Milka and brother Milko played for the basketball teams of Yugoslavia, Serbia, and then Montenegro. At the age of 16 she was accepted into one of the strongest volleyball teams of Serbia - “Red Star”, which she played for until 2013, becoming a 4-time Serbian champion , 4-time winner of the Serbia Cup, a silver medalist of the European Volleyball Confederation Cup .

In 2013—2017 Belitsa played in Poland, Turkey and Brazil, and in 2017 she returned to Serbia, to the team “Red Star”, but in February of the following year she moved to Swiss “ Volero ” (in the same year the team moved to Le Cannet ( France ), united in the local "Canne-Rocheville"). In 2019, Ana Belitsa again signed a contract with the Brazilian volleyball club Ozasku, which she already played in 2016–2017.

In 2009-2010, Ana Belitsa twice became the silver medalist at the European Championships in the junior and youth teams of Serbia.

In 2010, Belitsa debuted in the national team of Serbia in the Euroleague draw, where she won gold medals. Later, she repeatedly became the winner of the official international tournaments, including European champion 2017 and world champion 2018 .
