Geography
The village is located in the east of the central part of the Pskov region, within the Bezhanitskaya Upland , on the right bank of the Revka River, at a distance of about 17 kilometers (in a straight line) northeast of the urban-type settlement Bezhanitsy , the administrative center of the region. The absolute height is 88 meters above sea level [2] .

History
Until 2005, the settlement was part of the now abolished Shilov volost . From 2005 to 2015, it was part of the Dobryvichi volost .
