In the men's and women's tournaments took part in 14 teams representing the provinces and territories of Canada .

In the men's tournament, the champion was (the 9th time in the history of the championships and the 2nd time in a row) representing the province of Manitoba ( skip Braden Calvert became the champion for the 2nd time both as a skip and as a player), winning the final against the team representing Saskatchewan (skip Jacob Hersikorn). Bronze medals won the team representing the province of New Brunswick (skip René Comeau).

In the women's tournament, the team became the champion (the 8th time in the history of the championships and the 2nd time in a row) representing Alberta ( skip Kelsey Rock became the champion for the 2nd time both as a skip and as a player), who won the team in the final representing the province of Ontario (skip Chelsea Brandwood). The bronze medal was won by a team representing British Columbia (skip Corryn Brown).

Event Format

The tournament consists of two stages - a group stage and a playoff stage . The group stage, in turn, consists of two stages of selection. At the first stage ( English Round Robin ) teams are divided into two groups and play each other in a circular system in one circle.

Four best teams enter the second stage ( English Championship Pool ), where 8 teams in the same group play each other in a circular system in one circle; however, the results of team meetings in the 1st stage are counted; The final placement of teams in places is determined by their results in both stages.

The three best teams enter the second stage, the playoffs , where they play according to an incomplete Olympic system : first in the semi-finals there are the 2nd and 3rd teams, the winner of the semi-finals meets in the final with the 1st team.

The teams that took the places below the 4th in the first stage, for the final distribution of the 9th to the 14th places between them, play a classification draw ( eng. Seeding Pool ) among themselves in a circular system in one circle; the results of their meetings with each other at the 1st stage are taken into account, and the placement in places is determined by the total result at the 1st stage and in the classification draw.

The start time of matches is indicated at UTC − 3: 30 .
