History
In accordance with the Law of the Omsk Region of July 30, 2004 No. 548-OZ “On the Borders and the Status of Municipalities of the Omsk Region” [3], the village became part of the educated municipality “Panovskoye Rural Settlement”.
Geography
Azy is located in the northwest of a part of the region, within the West Siberian Plain in the taiga, near the r. Ase.
