Abdulvadud Ahmad ibn Abdulvasi Shashi ( Persian عبد الودود احمد بن عبد الواسع شاشي ) is a Tashkent calligrapher from the era of the Chagatai ulus . In 1339 he copied the collection of hadiths “ Mishkat al-Masabih ” al-Khatiba at-Tabrizi (d. 1340) in the traditional Arabic script - naskh . Today, this manuscript is kept at the Tashkent State Institute of Oriental Studies of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan [1] .
