Biography
Igor Tsvetkov was born on August 17, 1963; In 1985, he received a higher military education - he graduated from the Smolensk Higher Anti-Aircraft Missile Engineering School . Then he served in the army as an officer in the Soviet army . Already in Russia, in 1993, he received a higher legal education - he graduated from the law department of the Military Institute under the Russian Ministry of Defense and began to serve in the military justice bodies; as of 2016, he was a justice major in reserve.
In the period from 1996 to 2007, Tsvetkov was a judge of the arbitration court of the Smolensk region . In 2002, under the guidance of Boris Puginsky , a professor at Moscow State University, Tsvetkov defended his thesis on “The Impact of Public Law Requirements on the Content of Foreign Trade Agreements”. In 2004, he published his monograph, The Taxpayer in the Trial. Two years later, in 2006, he became a doctor of legal sciences - after successfully defending a dissertation on the subject of “Contractual discipline in entrepreneurial activity”.
The following year, 2007, Igor Tsvetkov took up the post of professor at the Department of Commercial Law and Fundamentals of Law, which is part of the Law Faculty of Moscow State University . M.V.
