Starorussky is a settlement in the Guryev urban district of the Kaliningrad region . Until 2014, it was part of the Khrabrovsky rural settlement .

Geography
Starorussky settlement is located between the Malyanok Small and Bolshaya rivers, 1.4 km above (south of) their mouths on the Curonian Lagoon , 21.6 km in a straight line to the northeast of the north-eastern outskirts of the regional center buildings, the city of Kaliningrad .
History
The settlement belongs to the historical area of ancient Prussia named Sambia . Prussian name Eytunay [2] .
The settlement of Aytinen was founded at the very beginning of the 15th century.
According to the results of the Second World War, the settlement was transferred to the USSR together with the entire northern part of East Prussia .
In 1946, Aytinen was renamed the village of Starorussky [3] .
Now as part of Russia as the successor of the USSR.
