Biography
Born on November 6 ( 19 ), 1911 in the village of Verkhnye Pankley ( Chuvash. Turi Pankli ) of the Simbirsk Governorate of the Russian Empire (now in the Yuskasinsky rural settlement , Morgaushsky District , Chuvashia , Russia ). At the age of 10 he survived the death of his father, and took over the management of the economy [1] .
In 1929 he graduated from Tiushi eight-year school and entered the Chuvash Central Pedagogical College, graduating in 1932. After graduation, he worked for 2 years (until 1934) as a teacher of language and literature of the Khyrkassinsky junior high school in the Cheboksary District. I decided to continue my education and entered the Chuvash State Pedagogical Institute , graduating in 1938, after which he was sent to work at the Alatyr Pedagogical School. After working there for some time, he was drafted into the Soviet army ; having served, in 1940 got a job as an editor of a book publishing house [1] .
With the beginning of World War II he volunteered for the front. March 6, 1944 during the liberation of the western regions of Ukraine was mortally wounded [2] . He was buried at the military cemetery of the village of Shumbar of the Shumsky district of the Ternopil region of the USSR [1] .
Creativity
The first publications relate to 1932 - the stories “Uyăh Ansan” (“After sunset”), “Via al a” (“Three hands”) were published in “Suntal” magazine, after - “Urah chěre” (“Other heart”) , “Parne” (“Present”), “Utappan Brigadier” (“Brigadier Stepan”), “Tatărnă ěmět” (“Interrupted Dream”), “Kăramăl Avan” (“Pleasant mood”). The most significant works — the novel “System” (“Sensitivity”) and the story “Tuslăkh” (“Friendship”) were published in the newspaper “Kanash” (1937) and in the magazine “Suntal” (“Anvil”) (1941) [1] .
A member of the Writers' Union of the USSR (1962, posthumously) [3] .
