Description
The UAV is made according to the normal aerodynamic design with a two-beam tail unit and a pushing propeller.
The All-Seeing Eye equipment can be installed on Corsair, which allows to process hyperspectral data streams generated by the spectral radiation of each object or material, which should guarantee the ability of the scout to uniquely identify targets regardless of the degree of camouflage.
The Combat Space complex, planned for installation on UAVs, should provide the possibility of bilateral exchange of tactical information directly between combat units, bypassing the ground control point, to which information is duplicated at the same time in the notification and waiting mode of additional commands [1] .
It is also assumed that the Corsair will be able to carry ATGM Attack or rocket-propelled grenades, thus fulfilling the role of shock. At the Victory Parade in 2018, the Corsair complex was demonstrated with TPK ATGMs on the platforms of trucks carrying UAVs [2] .
History
The contract for the development of the complex was concluded between the Ministry of Defense of Russia and KB Luch in 2009.
The UAV mockup was first shown at the MAKS-2011 air show in August 2011.
Flight tests started in 2015. In the same year, Corsair was shown at the closed exhibition of the International military-technical forum Army-2015.
In 2018, UAVs were transported along the Red Square of Moscow as part of the Victory Parade on May 9.
In 2019, the complex could be seen in the open part of the exposition of the International military-technical forum Army-2019.
Until 2025, it is planned to start deliveries of Corsair UAVs to the Armed Forces of Russia [3] .
