Biography
Vyacheslav Kamburov was born on December 25, 1874 ( January 6, 1875 ) in Mariupol , in a merchant family: his parents owned a house. In 1897, he graduated from the Law Faculty of St. Vladimir's Imperial Kiev University (with a second degree diploma). As a student, he received a gold medal for his essay on the works of the philosophers Hobbes , Locke and Milton ; among his Kiev lecturers were professors of philosophy Yevgeny Trubetskoy and Georgy Chelpanov .
After graduating, Vyacheslav Kamburov was left at the Department of Encyclopedia of Law at his native university to prepare for a professorship. On February 9, 1898, he became a junior candidate for positions in the judicial department of the Kiev Court of Justice; two years later, on May 16, 1900, he became the senior candidate. On March 21 of the same year, 1900, he took the post of head of the first investigative unit of Vasilkovsky district . At the same time, Kamburov passed the exam for the master's degree at the university (1900) - after a trial lecture on the topic “The principle of separation of powers and its importance in science” he received the title of privat-docent .
September 28, 1900 Vyacheslav Kamburov became a assistant professor at Kiev University, where he began to read a non-binding course on the history of legal philosophy. In 1901 he was sent on a business trip to Europe for scientific purposes: during this trip he worked in the library of the University of London and listened to a course of lectures on philosophy, read by the German neo-Kantian philosopher Friedrich Paulsen (1846-1908) at the University of Berlin ; In addition, he continued his education in Paris , where A. Michel, a state researcher, became his supervisor. As a result, Kamburov became the first popularizer of state science in the Russian Empire .
On August 23, 1903, Vyacheslav Kamburov corrected the position of extraordinary professor at the Department of Encyclopedia of Law and the History of Philosophy of Law related to the law faculty of Tomsk State University ; read two courses: on the encyclopedia of law and philosophy of law . His evening practical classes (“seminaries”) in general philosophy were popular; in 1904, on his initiative, a philosophical circle was created. January 7, 1906 Kamburov died of intestinal ulcers, causing intestinal hemorrhage .

Vyacheslav Kamburov's scientific interests were broad: he was the author of several works on general issues of the theory of law , the encyclopedia of law and the philosophy of law. In addition, he wrote several reviews and small works on philosophy and the general theory of law. Shared the views of the philosopher Vladimir Solovyov - was a strong opponent of materialism and positivism .
