Distribution

Oceania : Papua New Guinea [1] .

Description

Small glitter wasps (body length from 5 to 7 mm, the largest species of its kind). They differ in white first, second and third segments of the flagellum flagellum, white tips of the hips of the legs, proportions of antenna segments, bluish reflection of the body surface. The main body color is brownish-black (antennae and legs lighter). The pronotum is short, about half as long (0.5-0.6) of the combined length of the scutum, scutellum and methanotum combined. Scootum with notauli. Females and males are winged. Claws of paws without teeth. Insect parasitoids bred from Eurycantha insularis Lucas ( Phasmatodea : Phasmatidae ) [1] [2] .

Systematics

The species was first described in 2012 [3] ., And its valid status was confirmed in 2019 during an audit of the genus Cladobethylus , conducted by the American hymenopterologist Professor Lynn Kimsey ( Bohart Museum of Entomology , Department of Entomology, University of California at Davis , California , USA ) [1] [2] .
