Peter Sergeevich Strakhov ( 1869 - 1934 ) - professor at the Petrovsky Agricultural Academy .
Came from the nobility of the Moscow province .
In 1892 he graduated from the Mechanical Engineering Department of the Moscow Technical School with the title of Mechanical Engineer and from 1893 began teaching the building design school. Since September 1897, he also took the position of associate professor at the Department of Building Art of the Moscow Agricultural Institute. From the fall of 1899 to September 1909, he taught applied mechanics, material resistance , mechanical technology, and drawing at the Moscow Technical School.
From October 1912 to July 1913, P. S. Strakhov was a supernumerary extraordinary professor at the Moscow Commercial Institute .
For the " Brockhaus and Efron Encyclopedic Dictionary " he wrote two large articles Storage of Agricultural Products and Economic Buildings .
