Biography
Representative Lemko . In 1945 he was resettled from Poland to Ukraine. Since 1947 he lived in Lviv. In 1952 he graduated from the Lviv Art College, then in 1957 - the Institute of Applied and Decorative Arts (now the Lviv National Academy of Arts ). Pupil N.L. Ryabinina .
Master of relief and round woodcarving, sculptor.
Since 1964 - Honored Artist of the Ukrainian SSR, member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine.
He participated in republican, union and international exhibitions.
In the work are portraits , sculptures, which are now kept in many museums in Ukraine, Russia, in private collections in Ukraine, Poland, and the USA. The National Museum of Folk Art of the Hutsul Region and Pokuttya named after I. Kobrinsky stores 4 works by the master.
Father of Vladimir Odrekhovsky , sculptor, rector of the Lviv National Academy of Arts.
He was buried at the Lychakiv cemetery in Lviv.
