Komarov, Igor Gennadievich

Born in a family of doctors in the city of Rostov-on-Don . He graduated from the First Moscow State Medical University named after I.M.Sechenov in 1980 .

From 1980 to 1982 he studied at the residency in the specialty "Oncology" at the Department of Surgery of the Central Order of Lenin Institute for Advanced Medical Studies. From 1983 to 1987, he completed post-graduate studies in oncology at the Oncological Scientific Center of the Academy of Medical Sciences of the USSR .

In 1987 he defended his thesis for the degree of candidate of medical sciences , and in 2000 - the dissertation for the degree of doctor of medical sciences .

The leading surgeon is an oncologist of the highest qualification category with surgical experience of more than 30 years. He is the founder of the development of video surgery at the National Medical Research Center for Oncology. N.N. Flea . At the expert level, she owns a wide range of both video-surgical and “open” - traditional surgical interventions for various oncological diseases.

As a professor, he lectures to cadets at the Department of Oncology of the Russian Medical Academy of Continuing Postgraduate Education of the Russian Ministry of Health .

From 1982 to 1998, he worked as a surgeon - oncologist , junior researcher, researcher, senior researcher in the diagnostic department of the Cancer Research Center of the USSR Academy of Medical Sciences .

In 1990-1993 he was on a business trip in Tunisia as a surgeon in the department of abdominal and emergency surgery at the University Hospital.
