Draw System

27 teams took part in the draw, of which 7 dropped out of the Champions League qualifying round. In all stages of the tournament, the playoff system is used, that is, the teams are divided into pairs and spend two matches with each other on the road. The winner of the pair is the team that won two victories. In case of equality of victories, the winner is the team that scored the most points within the two-match series (3 points are given for victory 3: 0 and 3: 1, 2 points for victory 3: 2, 1 for defeat 2, 1 for defeat : 3 and 0: 3 points are not awarded). If both teams scored the same number of points, an additional (“golden”) set is assigned, the winner of which goes to the next round of the competition.
