Geography

The village is located in the east of the central part of the Pskov region, within the Bezhanitskaya Upland , on the left bank of the Revka River, at a distance of about 16 kilometers (in a straight line) north of the urban-type settlement Bezhanitsy , the administrative center of the region.

The climate is characterized as transitional between typically marine and continental with high humidity [2] .
