Biography
Born on August 19, 1938 in Stalingrad. He graduated from the Stalingrad Mechanical Institute, Department of Automotive and Tractor, majoring in mechanical engineering (1960).
- 1960-1963 design engineer of the Volgograd Tractor Plant;
- 1963-1973 design engineer, group leader, head of design bureau; since 1968, first deputy chief designer - head of design bureau of the drilling equipment factory "Barricades" (OKB-221);
- 1973-1983 chief designer of OKB-1 PO "Barricades" ;
- 1983-1991 chief - chief designer of the Central Design Bureau of Barricades;
- 1991 - Director-Chief Designer, Central Design Bureau “Titan”, Volgograd;
- 1991-1994 - First Deputy Head of the Administration of the Volgograd Region;
- 1994-1996 1st deputy. Chairman of the State Investment Corporation (Moscow);
- Since 1996 he worked in scientific-engineering and production companies.
In 2001 and 2009, he was mentioned as the director of the Volgograd Institute of Materials Science.
In 1984-1989, the head. Department of Theoretical Mechanics, Volgograd Polytechnic Institute.
In 1977 he defended his PhD, in 1983 a doctoral dissertation. Doctor of Technical Sciences (1983), Professor (1988).
One of the developers of self-propelled launchers and ground equipment for strategic missiles with intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBMs) "Temp-2C".
He supervised the design work on the creation of launchers and ground equipment for the Pioneer mobile missile system, the Pioneer UTX, Pioner-3 modifications, and the mobile ground missile system with Topol ICBMs.
The author of more than 100 scientific papers, received more than 100 copyright certificates for inventions and patents.

Ranks and Awards
Laureate of the USSR State Prize (1973) and Lenin Prize (1977) for his great personal contribution to the design and development of complexes of special-purpose equipment. He was awarded the Order of the Red Banner of Labor (1974) and medals.
