Geography
The village is located in the eastern part of the Kursk region, in the forest-steppe zone, within the southwestern part of the Central Russian Upland , west of the Kastory River (a tributary of the Olym ), at a distance of about 15 kilometers (in a straight line) east-southeast (ESE) from urban settlement Kastornoye , the administrative center of the district. The absolute height is 246 meters above sea level [2] .
