Askold Evgenievich Surovetsky (born January 31, 1942 , Druzhina ) is a Soviet and Russian powerlifting coach. Honored coach of Yakutia. Honored coach of Russia . EPF European champion in powerlifting among veterans in 1996. Silver medalist of the IPF World Veterans Powerlifting Championship in 1996. Multiple champion and record holder of Russia in powerlifting.

Biography

Born on January 31, 1942 in the village of Druzhina . Father - Yevgeny Kuzmich Surovetsky - a veteran of the sports movement in Yakutia , an active promoter of a healthy lifestyle. Grandfather - Kozma Evtropievich Surovetsky - a revolutionary, a member of the militia of the RSDLP , chairman of the Union of Workers, a member of the Society of political prisoners [1] .

In 1964 he graduated from the engineering and technical faculty of the Yakutsk University - now the North-Eastern Federal University . The founder of the athletic movement in Yakutia, in 1965, he organized the city club "Sparta" in Yakutsk . First Chairman of the Republican Bodybuilding Federation, Judge of the Republican category since 1993.
