Terrorist organizations
Two groups are currently listed as terrorist organizations in accordance with Myanmar’s anti-terrorism law: the Arakhan Rohingya Rescue Army (ARSA), which was added on August 25, 2017 [2] , and the Arakan Army, which was added on January 18, 2019 of the year. [3] [4] The military government of the SPDC called the "Vigorous Burmese Student Warriors" (VBSW) a terrorist organization after their role in the siege of the Myanmar embassy in 1999, but this group was not officially declared as such by law.
