Biography
Julio began performing on stage when he was 15 years old. At the age of 16, he won the radio contest, the prize of which was a presentation in a nightclub, which was the beginning of his creative career.
Widely famous in Latin America for the performance of songs in the genre of pasillo or creole waltz , bolero , corrido , tango , rancher (canción ranchera). He carried out several tours in Latin America. The first countries in which the singer performed were Colombia , Peru , Argentina , Uruguay , Chile and others. He made triumphant tours in Mexico , Puerto Rico and the states of Central America . The last international tour took place in the USA and Canada.
During his career he has recorded more than 4000 songs, his most famous song was and remains "Nuestro Juramento" , well known throughout South America. Starred in the movie.
The career of Jaramillo early cut short bohemian lifestyle. The scandals surrounding his hectic life were often sources of news. He was imprisoned several times, almost always because of crimes against women or minors. He was officially married five times, Julio had children from other women: it is estimated that he had up to twenty-eight children.
Jaramillo suffered from cirrhosis . He died as a result of complications after surgery to remove stones from the gallbladder .
