Pseudoyersinia lagrecai (lat.) - a species of insects from the family of true mantis (Mantidae), distributed in Sicily . The species is named after the Italian entomologist Marcello La Greca (1914-2001).

One of the smallest mantis of Europe, the body length is only 2.4-2.5 cm in males, 2.6-2.9 cm in females. The body is green or brown. Faceted eyes are conical. Prothorax thin, with a dark stripe in the center. The front legs are thin. Elytra shorter than pronotum, same color as body, almost transparent, only anterior margin brown-red and opaque. The hind wings are transparent. Cerci are short. It differs from the closely related species Pseudoyersinia brevipennis with less protruding eyes, a less curved crown and the structure of the genital organs [1] .
