Julius Traugott von Könneritz ( German: Julius Traugott von Könneritz ; May 30, 1792 , Merseburg , Elector of Saxony - October 28, 1866 , Dresden ) - German politician, statesman, Minister of Justice (1841-1846), head of the government of the Kingdom of Saxony (September 1843 - March 13, 1848).

Biography
The son of the courtier. From 1804 to 1808 he studied at Bad Kösen , then studied law at the University of Wittenberg . Since 1811 he worked in the Leipzig court as an auditor .
Volunteer in 1814 participated in the War of Independence in Germany . Later he received a second law degree, served as a government assessor in Dresden . Since 1817 - an employee of the Saxon government.
From 1831 to 1833 he was Minister of the Royal Court, from 1831 to 1846 he served as Minister of Justice of the Kingdom of Saxony .
In September 1843 he was appointed Prime Minister of Saxony. During the Revolution of 1848-1849 in Germany, he resigned, but remained a member of the State Council and the State Court of Saxony.
