Woodfordia [1] ( Latin Woodfordia ) is a genus of passerines from the family of white-eyed (Zosteropidae) [2] . The name was given in honor of the British naturalist and colonialist Charles Morris Woodford (1852–1927), who discovered the first of two species of the genus, the Woodfordia superciliosa, in the Solomon Islands .

As of May 2019, two species of birds are included in the genus (both are endemics of the Solomon Islands, and each lives on only one island) [2] :
- Woodfordia lacertosa (Murphy & Mathews, 1929) - Rapid Woodford [1]
- Woodfordia superciliosa North, 1906 - Ordinary Woodford [1]
There are, however, DNA studies, according to which these species belong to the large genus Zosterops [3] .
