Biography

His own father, Kudrya Daniil Vasilievich, was mobilized in 1914 and died on the battlefield of the First World War. The mother was left alone with three children in her arms - the twins Mark and Daniel and the youngest - Ivan. For several years they lived in Kiev, where Anisya Zakharovna worked at a brewery. In 1920, due to difficult living conditions in Kiev, the family returned to their native village. In 1922, Anisya Zakharovna married a peasant Vasily Gavrilovich Kutsenko for the second time. In 1926, a family, as part of a group of other migrants, moved to a permanent place of residence in Northern Tavria (then - the village of Rogachinka, Kherson District, Dnipropetrovsk Region, now - Chaplinsky District, Kherson Region). Ivan labored at the local fists. Soon the family joined the collective farm of the village of Shevchenko. In 1929-1930 he studied at the Chaplinsky seven-year labor school, which he successfully graduated from. After her graduation, she enters the Kiev Zootechnical Institute. However, he did not have to study there. The Komsomol Central Committee mobilized him for pedagogical work among the three thousandths. After completing teacher training courses in Kherson, he was sent to work as the head of the Rogachinsky elementary school, where he worked until 1932. In 1932 he was sent to work as a mechanic in Pavlovskaya, and since 1933 - Chaplinskaya MTS. In the autumn of 1934, Ivan Danilovich was drafted into the ranks of the Red Army in the NKVD border guard.

After being drafted into the army, he served in the border troops on the western border. The command was recommended to study at the NKVD school, after which it was sent to serve in foreign intelligence . 02/01/1939 - lieutenant of state security. [one]

Later - Major, beg. Division 1 of the NKVD of Ukraine. With the outbreak of World War II, he was left in Kiev to organize and lead reconnaissance and sabotage groups. He took a direct part in the preparation and combat operations of 7 sabotage groups in Kiev occupied by the Germans. Collected intelligence here about the enemy and his agents. As a result of the betrayal, he was captured by the Nazis on July 5, 1942 and executed in November of that year.

The group of I. Kudri also included actress R. Okipnaya , E. Bremer, and others. According to one version [2] , the explosion of the cathedral of the Kiev Pechersk Lavra (XI century) is associated with the sabotage group Kudri.

Rewards

  • By a decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of May 8, 1965, the title of Hero of the Soviet Union was posthumously awarded.
