Content
Story
Ha, nicknamed Beast - is an elite member of the Criminal Investigation Department of the Hong Kong Police. One day, while arresting a criminal, Ha accidentally humiliates Chief Inspector Thine, who is eventually demoted. Leikun, another officer of the Criminal Investigation Department, by his actions, causes Thinh's wife to give birth prematurely in a car accident during the pursuit of lawbreakers. Later, both officers are transferred to the Investigations Department under the leadership of Thinh. Leikun has a younger sister, Lei-lei, whom he cares for and values her. However, in the case of an accidental set of circumstances, Ha meets Lei-lei, and they have a novel, to the displeasure of Leikun. Later, two officers are investigating the capture of Lei Weifun, a former undercover agent who has become a fraud and the biggest drug dealer in Asia.

The premiere of the film at the Hong Kong film distribution took place on June 20, 1986 [3] . The rental, which ended on July 2, brought the film 11 108 518 HK $ [1] .
Perception
The film won the favorable ratings of film critics. Andrew Saroch, who put 3.5 stars out of 5 to the Rose, sums up that “while Rose is not one of the best comedy fighters that came from Hong Kong in the 80s, you can always watch it” [4] . Boris Khokhlov, with the same assessment of the film, writes that "this is the most primitive action-comedy plot, far from reality as far as it is possible at all," although "it is entertaining, while remaining spectacular as unpretentious and optional as possible" [5] .
