The Residence of Heavenly Mentors ( Chinese 天師 府 , Tianshifu) is a Taoist temple complex in the city of Shangqing , in the Lonhushan Mountains . Here was the administrative center of the School of Heavenly Mentors , later known as the School of True Unity (正 一道), the patriarch’s dwelling place and the Taoist community.

After the revolution, the complex fell into decay. In April 1983, the State Council of the PRC expanded the list of protected objects, and the Residence of Heavenly Mentors also entered there. The residence of the Heavenly Mentors was in disrepair, many temples and pavilions were destroyed, the territory was expanded and restored, but the real restoration of temples and the Taoist community can be attributed to the mid-90s.
