A brief description of. Annual herb, 10-30 cm tall. The stem is straight, thin, bare, simple or branched. The leaves are alternate, linear-lanceolate, small, almost sessile, slightly glandular-pointed, sharp, 5-15 mm long, 0.5 - 4 mm wide. The flowers are located 1-5 in the axils of the upper and middle leaves, 1.5 - 2 mm long, with two bracts. The perianth is simple, four-lobed, pitcher-shaped, greenish-yellow, densely pubescent on the outside with short pressed hairs. The fruit is a pear-shaped nut, smooth, dark, enclosed in a cup. It blooms in May - June. Propagated by seeds.

Features of ecology and phytocenology. It grows in rocky and meadow steppes, often shot down and disturbed, on the steppe slopes. The species is found in communities of rocky steppes; can live in disturbed communities in rich steppe meadows. The met populations usually grew on degraded chernozem-like soils underlain by carbonate rocks (limestone, gypsum).

Number. The number of populations is small. Special accounting was not carried out.

Security measures taken. It is protected on the territory of the natural monument "Gorge Wet Gully" in the Bizhbulyaksky district of the Republic of Bashkortostan.
