Biography

Born on August 4, 1903 in the territory of the current Kirovograd region.

He graduated from the Dnepropetrovsk Mining Institute . In 1929-1935 he worked in the mines of Krivbass. In 1935-1947, he was an employee of the Dneprotsvetmet Institute. In 1947 he was convicted, worked in mines in the Kazakh SSR. Rehabilitated in 1953.

In 1948, he defended his doctoral dissertation "Research on the influence of the ionic composition of pulp on the flotation of rare metal ores" [1] .

In 1955-1958, he headed the enrichment group, and from March 14, 1958, the laboratory for the enrichment of rare-metal raw materials, at the Institute of Chemistry and Technology of Rare Elements and Mineral Raw Materials [2] .

In 1958-1965 - Head of the Department of Mineral Processing at the Kryvyi Rih Mining Institute .

Since 1965 he worked at the Moscow Institute of Mining and Raw Materials .

He died on May 19, 1967 in Moscow, where he was buried at the Nikolo-Arkhangelskoye cemetery (old territory, plot No. 23).

Scientific activity

He dealt with the problem of flotation of iron ores. The author of more than 100 scientific papers in the field of iron ore beneficiation. One of the founders of the school of iron ore enrichment in Kryvyi Rih.
