Khairullin, Abdel-Bary Khabievich

Abdel-Bary Khabievich Khayrullin (born February 1, 1955) is a Russian Islamic leader. Imam Khatib of the Central Cathedral Mosque of Orenburg, Mufti of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of the Orenburg Region (1994-2015).

Birth

Biography

Born on February 1, 1955 in the village of Kuzbayevo , which was part of the Buraevsky district of the Bashkir Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic. He graduated from the secondary Tatar-Russian school, then entered the technological faculty of the Ufa Aviation Institute. A year later he left secular education in favor of the religious, and began to study Islam.

In 1977 he entered the Miri Arab Madrasah in Bukhara . After graduating from the madrasah in 1982, he became the imam-khatib of the Ufa Cathedral Mosque. In 1986 he entered the Tashkent University, which he graduated in 1990.

In 1999 he graduated in absentia from the Russian Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Russian Federation and Orenburg State University , where he received the qualifications of a lawyer.

Since 2005, is a member of the Public Council at the Department of Internal Affairs of the Orenburg Region. In 2006, he became a member of the Public Chamber of the Orenburg Region, was a member of the committee on national and ethno-confessional relations.
