Biography
Born in somon Gurvanbulag (now aimak Bulgan , Mongolia ). He graduated from a pedagogical institute, worked as a teacher. He was an employee of the Mongolian Academy of Sciences .
Member of the Second World War. He participated in the Soviet-Japanese war .
Scientific activity
He spent 1340 days in expeditions in the mountains of the Mongolian Altai , collected many myths, legends and various facts about the bigfoot. He found large traces several times, according to him, he himself came across this mysterious creature three times. “I have two pictures of Bigfoot taken by researcher R. Ravir, and I did not find them large, but in any case, twice as many people,” says journalist Gailani Jamian.
Ravjir summed up the results of his expeditions and published two books on the study of the snowman: “Almas Survalzhilsan Temdeglel” and “Aene hen man үү?” (“Notes on the tracks of Almas” and “Is this a man?”).
