Biography

Club career

Pupil of Ust-Kamenogorsk hockey, coach - Vladimir Golts [1] .

At the adult level, he began performing in the 1979/80 season as part of the Minsk Dynamo . I spent six seasons on the team, playing over 250 matches, mostly in the first league. In the Premier League , Minsk played one season (1980/81), having played 36 matches and scored 6 (4 + 2) points.

In 1985, he moved to Sokol Kiev , he spent four seasons in the big leagues, playing 132 matches and scoring 33 points (20 + 13). In the 1988/89 season, he also played in the first league for ShVSM (Kiev).

During the 1988/89 season, he returned to Belarus, played for the Grodno Neman / Progress-ShVSM in the second and first leagues.

From the 1989/90 season he performed abroad. He played in the Polish Championship for the clubs Krakow and GKS Tychy (under the direction of coach Ivan Krivonosov) [2] , in the Slovak Championship for Zvolen and in the Spanish Championship for Haku . In Spain, he also worked as a coach and hockey judge [3] [4] .

Career in the national team

In the junior (U18) national team of the USSR he won the European Championship among juniors 1979/80 . As part of the youth (U20) national team, he participated in the 1981/82 World Championship , where the USSR team remained fourth.

In 1996-1998, he played for the national team of Belarus , a participant in the 1997 World Championships and the 1998 Olympics . Total for the national team held 22 matches, scored 23 (11 + 12) points. He was the captain of the team in the unofficial matches [5] .

Personal life

Son Alex (born 1985) also became a hockey player, played for the Spanish national team.
