The Vassino Formation is a geological formation in the Toguchinsky district of the Novosibirsk Region , the sedimentary rocks of which formed 382.7–372.2 million years ago, that is, in the French Age of the Devonian period . It consists of lithified limestone , which is a coral biostrome . The name is derived from the village of Vassino , near which there is a formation [1] .
