Biography
He studied at the Imperial Academy of Arts (1867-1870). He received medals from the Academy of Fine Arts: a small silver (1865) for "a house project for a rich lady (widow) who devoted herself to charity" , a small silver medal (1866) for a "project of the conservatory" , a large silver (1867), a small gold medal (1868) . The title of class artist of the 1st degree (1880) for the program “Project of the people's house” . The title of academician (1880). [one]
He taught at the Drawing School of the Imperial Society for the Promotion of Arts . Founding member of the Petersburg Society of Architects . [2]
The main works : industrial buildings and the mansion B. I. Hofmark (together with A. D. Schilling , Petersburg, 1870s); Virigina Mansion (with A.D. Schilling, Petersburg, 1872–1873); the building of a shelter for convicted children of the Ladies' Guardian of the Prisons Committee (Petersburg, 1881); Petrovsky Commercial School building (together with F. S. Kharlamov , Petersburg, 1882–1883). [2]
