Biography

He studied at the St. Petersburg Practical Technological Institute (1896-1845). He was certified by the Imperial Academy of Arts as a non-class artist for the project "Concert Hall for 1200 People" (1848). He was recognized as "appointed to academics" (1852). Elected to the academicians (1857) for the project "at home for the Provincial Noble Assembly . " He received the title of professor (1892) for the program "Orthodox Church in the Russian style . " [one]

He worked as an architect of the Tsarskoye Selo Palace Administration; taught at the Nikolaev Engineering Academy and the Nikolaev Engineering School (since 1861). [2]

Main works : building of the Archive of the Ministry of Justice (Moscow, 1886); several apartment buildings in St. Petersburg (1860-1870); engaged in the restoration of the temple in Chersonesos [2] ; participated in the restructuring of the Old Hermitage and the palace of Grand Duke Nikolai Nikolayevich the Elder [1] .
