Biography

Primary education in the Lutheran School of the Church of St.. Peter and Paul . A volunteer at the Imperial Academy of Arts (1867–1868), a student of the Academy (1868–1873) with architect A.I. Krakau . He received medals from the Academy of Arts: a large incentive (1870), a large and a small silver medal (1871), a small gold medal (1872) for the "project of a stone market with iron rafters for selling edible supplies in the capital city" ; a large gold medal (1873) for the β€œExchange Project” . The title of the class artist of the 1st degree (1873). He was sent as a pensioner of the Academy of Arts for 6 years, of which he spent two years in Russia (1874–1876), a pensioner of the Academy abroad (Spain, France, Italy, 1876–1881).
