Aibek Bektayevich Bektayev ( May 12, 1927 Almaty , Kazakh Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic - August 2, 1994 , Almaty , Republic of Kazakhstan ) - Soviet musician , performer of percussion musical instruments , associate professor of the Kurmangazy Alma-Ata Conservatory . It is considered one of the founders of the school of playing classical percussion instruments in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Biography
Born on May 12, 1927 in the city of Alma-Ata. He died on August 2, 1994 in Almaty.
In 1945 he graduated from the Odessa Military Music School (which during the years of World War II was evacuated to Tashkent).
In 1945-1948 upon graduation, he was sent to military service in the Separate Model Show Orchestra of the USSR Navy (Moscow City)
In 1948-1952 Held military service in military unit N 52605.
In 1952, after demobilization, he arrived in Alma-Ata and entered the conservatory for the first year of the orchestra faculty in the class of percussion instruments. He also became an artist of the Abay GATOB Symphony Orchestra.
After graduating from the conservatory in 1958, Aybek Bektayevich was invited as a teacher to the percussion instrument class. Also, Aibek Bektayevich was a teacher at the Akhmet Zhubanov School of Music. He taught at the RSSMShI named after K. Bayseytova
In 1970, he was awarded the title of " Excellence in Public Education ."
