Geography
The village is located in the eastern part of the Tambov region, in the forest-steppe zone, within the Oka-Don plain , on the banks of the Inokovka River, at a distance of about 17 kilometers (in a straight line) to the west-south-west (WSW) from the town of Kirsanov , the administrative center of the district.
- Climate
The climate is characterized as temperate continental with insufficient and unstable moisture. The average annual rainfall is 470-510 mm. The average temperature in January is −11.3 ° С, in July –20.4 ° С [2] .
- Timezone
The village of Fedorovka, like the whole Tambov region, is located in the time zone of Moscow time ( Moscow time ). The offset of the applied time relative to UTC is +3: 00 [3] . |
History
According to 1926, there were 150 households and 781 people lived (376 men and 405 women). Administratively, the village was part of the Inokovo volost of the Kirsanovsky district of the Tambov province [4] .
