Known since the 18th century . Another name for the village is Yakunino. According to 1862, the state village of Yakunin (or the Hot Top ) by the Semenka River. It was part of the Lebedyansky district of the Tambov province.
Name - on a screwdriver (ravine) Hot Top. That, in turn, is named so because in this place the land for arable land was prepared by burning vegetation.
