History

It was founded in 1911. According to the data of 1926, there were 49 households in Verkhne-Kazanskaya and 253 people lived (mainly Tatars). The first-level school functioned. Administratively, the village was part of the Kazan Village Council of the Bolshe-Murtinsky District of the Krasnoyarsk District of the Siberian Territory [2] .

Geography

The village is located in the central part of the region, in the sub-taiga-forest-steppe region of the forest-steppe zone [3] , on the right bank of the Talova River, near the confluence of the Lomova River, at a distance of about 24 kilometers (in a straight line) northwest of Bolshaya Murta , administrative district center. The absolute height is 227 meters above sea ​​level [4] .
