Geography
The village of Peschanoe is located in the south of the Sambian Peninsula , in the upper reaches of a small river called Graevka, 16 km west of the regional center, the city of Kaliningrad , 12 km northeast of the city of Svetly .
History
Following the Second World War, Dorotheenhof, together with the northern part of East Prussia (now the Kaliningrad Region ) was transferred to the USSR , renamed Peschanoe [2] .
