Biography
Born on 02/19/1916 in Demidov , Smolensk Province , in the family of Ber Simonovich Fradkov (1890-1928) and Rezy-Riva Shmerkovna Fradkova (? —1941).
He graduated from Moscow Higher Technical School (1940), worked under the leadership of Academician Kapitsa at the 1st Autogenous Plant in the workshop of turbine expansion devices (TDU).
In 1941–1942 served in the Red Army (91st Rifle Regiment). He was awarded the medal "For the victory over Germany in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945."
In 1942-1958 worked at the Institute of Physical Problems (IFP) of the USSR AS .
From February 1958 to 1988, Head of the Cryogenic Laboratory of LPI . Since 1988 - Advisor to the Director of LPI.
Recent years he lived in Germany (Berlin). Died 04.07.2012. [one]
