Biography

He graduated from the Dnepropetrovsk Metallurgical Institute (1952, before that he studied at the University of Dnepropetrovsk). Left at the Department of TMM and Automation as an assistant. In 1959 he defended his thesis.

Since 1960, a senior fellow at the Institute of Ferrous Metallurgy (HMI). Since 1962, head of the department of mechanization and automation of metallurgical equipment (engineering). In 1968, he defended his doctoral dissertation at the Institute of Mechanical Engineering of the USSR Academy of Sciences on the topic “Dynamics of Hydraulic Mechanisms of Heavy Machines”.

Doctor of Technical Sciences (1969, topic of the dissertation "Dynamics of the hydraulic mechanisms of heavy machines"), in 1971 awarded the academic title of professor.

Since 1974, the head of the preparations for the launch and research of the equipment of the loading system of the world's largest blast furnace No. 9 of the Krivorozhstal plant.

Laureate of the USSR State Prize in the field of science and technology (1968 - for the creation and widespread introduction in industry of the range of high-performance universal mills for cold rolling pipes with a set of new mechanisms). He was awarded the Order of the Badge of Honor (1970).

Author (co-author) of more than 150 scientific publications, including 5 monographs. Received a large number of copyright certificates and foreign patents.
